Description
CMAS P1 is the internationally recognised entry-level scuba diving course – and a natural starting point if you want to learn to dive properly from the ground up. The course combines e-learning, pool training and open water dives in a structured progression over two weeks.
Schedule:
- Week 1: Theory start with e-learning and introduction
- Week 2: Pool session (evening), four sea dive sessions – six open water dives in total
What you will learn:
- Basic diving theory and equipment knowledge
- Practical skills in the pool and in open water
- Planning and carrying out dives
- Safety, buddy checks and handling emergencies
Included in the course price: E-learning access, loan of complete equipment and mask, fins and snorkel, theory book, logbook, dive tables and a physical CMAS★ certificate on successful completion.
After the course you are certified to dive to 20 metres. And with Skarnsundet right outside the door – a marine protected area with deep-water corals – you have one of Norway’s most exciting dive sites as your next step.
Requirements: Minimum age 14, able to swim and in normally good physical condition. A medical statement is required – the form can be downloaded from the course page.
