OMS P-Valve – p-valve, balanced

Description

Staying hydrated is one of the most important preparations before a dive — preferably 12–24 hours in advance. But the longer the dive, the greater the challenge. For technical divers and others who spend a lot of time underwater, a p-valve is quite simply necessary in order to maintain fluid balance and focus.

The OMS P-Valve has been developed in cooperation with experienced divers over several years. The patented P-Port system makes it possible to separate the valve from the suit — practical for cleaning, or when you want to fit a blanking plug for dives where a p-valve is not needed.

The valve is balanced: a duckbill valve on the inside equalises negative pressure, while a membrane on the outside lets urine out without letting seawater in.
