SUEX Sinapsi – navigation unit, for XJ-S and XK

kr27 490 ,-

SINAPSI NOSE. SINAPSI is a dedicated navigation unit that replaces the standard nose of the scooter and is fitted with sophisticated electronics that make it possible to receive and process underwater navigation data captured with the DPV.

The SINAPSI project took many years of sophisticated research, including extensive testing and trials to optimise the system.

Description

SINAPSI is available for the XJ-S and XK models and, combined with the ERON D-1, completes the extended mode of the Eron Dashboard.

This sophisticated yet intuitive tool lets you extend your exploration capabilities thanks to the following unique features:

1) ROUTE PLANNING VIA SMARTPHONE AND PC APPLICATION
  • Navigation planning for routes linking up to 3 waypoints + home position
  • PC software and phone app with cartography.
  • Data analysis of numerical dive logs: graph and cartography
  • Dive log post-processing and export in the most widely used formats (CSV and KML)
2) GNSS POSITIONING – HOME POSITION

Acquisition and use of the GNSS position in order to:

  • Establish the starting point of the planned route
  • Store the departure and return point (HOME)
  • Recalculate the route for subsequent waypoints when the GNSS signal is re-acquired during navigation

3) DEAD RECKONING

Dead reckoning is navigation by estimated position. Unlike navigation by compass angle (heading), it gives the estimated position in real time and, consequently, the correct angle to reach the next waypoint.

4) COMPASS NAVIGATION AND REVERSE ROUTE

Navigation by compass heading and reverse heading.

5) PLANNING «ON THE FLY» ROUTES

The ability to set unlimited routes before and during navigation.

6) NAV FILTER

The ability to set the «reactivity» of the compass at three levels.

7) HEADING QUALITY INDEX

This index gives the accuracy of the heading angle in real time and adjusts or degrades in response to changes in the environment. It indicates how much you can trust the compass accuracy and whether calibration is needed.

8) COMPASS CALIBRATION

The two-step calibration system is able to compensate for hard and soft iron distortion in order to achieve optimal heading accuracy in any situation.

9) COMPASS CALIBRATION QUALITY

At the end of each calibration step the quality of the calibration is displayed and stored.

10) ODOMETER CALIBRATION

Automatic calibration system for the odometer in water.

11) WIRELESS SYSTEM

All connections to the navigation system are wireless. This guarantees reliability.

12) USE WITH SEVERAL SCOOTERS

Thanks to the unique Suex wireless system it is possible to use the same ERON on different DPVs during the same dive. This feature lets the diver log, on the same Eron, different parts of the dive carried out with different Suex DPVs

13) ACCURATE HEADING ANGLE IN ANY POSITION

Heading is not adversely affected by pitch and roll movements.

14) THE SUEX DPV MOTOR DOES NOT AFFECT THE HEADING

The heading is not affected by the magnetism of the DPV motor.

15) DISTANCE AND SPEED MEASUREMENT

Speed measurement system using a robust, efficient, user-adjustable odometer built into the DPV that is unaffected by the suction of the DPV propeller and independent of the speed of the DPV.

16) DATA RECEPTION

In addition to navigation data, the system provides dive data (time / depth / temperature) and DPV data such as battery state of charge and remaining run time in minutes.

17) IOS, ANDROID AND PC APP

App for route planning, log download and storage.

18) BATTERY

User-replaceable and readily available standard batteries giving approximately 40 hours of navigation use (see the manual for further details).
