Description

General information

  • The SUEX VRX UV scooter is available in two versions. The SUEX VRX has a Li-Ion battery and the Suex VRT scooter a NiMH battery. (T) stands for travel-ready and can be taken on board an aircraft.
  • It weighs 16.5 kg and is 720 mm long. Top speed is stated at 65 m per minute. This figure can vary a great deal. It depends very much on whether the diver has experience with a scooter or is still getting started. It also depends on whether you dive with a single cylinder, twinset and stage, and with a wetsuit or drysuit, etc.
  • The scooter has enough power to efficiently tow a diver with twin 12s and a stage in addition to yourself.
  • The Suex VRX and VRT underwater scooters come with the PropLock system. The Suex PropLock system lets you easily remove the propeller and clear weed or fishing line underwater or after the dive on the surface.
The battery indicator is an important component in a scooter. On the Suex VRX, remaining run time is shown by an LED ring. If the LED is blue, the battery is full. The more the LED battery indicator turns red, the shorter the remaining battery life. If the LED ring on the Suex VRX turns red, there is still roughly 10-15 minutes of battery life left.
  • The scooter has Bluetooth and lets you read data from the battery and adjust the acceleration of the scooter.
