The Suunto Console 300 bar with Miflex hose is a solid starting point if you want analogue instruments close at hand during the dive. The pressure gauge is easy to read and dependable — exactly what you want when checking your pressure in cold Norwegian water with gloves on.

The Miflex hose is flexible and easy to route, and reduces the stiffness that can otherwise be a problem in cold water. The console is built for expansion, so you can adapt it as your rig develops.
