What Is Included?

Know exactly what you are booking

Every Bare Dykk package is confirmed in writing before payment. The final quotation takes priority over general information on this page, because the number of dives, gas requirements, guiding and equipment vary between recreational and technical groups. This overview explains what is normally included and which services are normally added separately.

Included in a standard package

  • Exclusive use of the accommodation

  • Personal diving or travel insurance

The advertised number of dives is not guaranteed when weather, current, equipment, team readiness or safety require the program to change. Exclusive use of the whole accommodation is only included when stated in the booking.

Is an in-water guide included?

An operational briefing and dive-site information do not necessarily mean an in-water guide is included — guiding is stated separately in your quotation. A guide may be recommended or required for divers without local experience, specific coral or technical objectives, complex navigation, DPV dives, groups with limited current experience, or photography needing local knowledge. A guide does not extend a diver's certification or experience limits.

Are cylinders and weights included?

Cylinders and weights are only included when stated in the quotation, because requirements vary between single-cylinder, twinset, sidemount, stage/decompression, rebreather and bailout configurations. Send us the configuration required by every diver before arrival.

Equipment rental

Rental is booked separately unless included in your package: drysuits and thermal protection, regulators, BCDs and wings, cylinders, weights, stage cylinders, DPVs, lights, selected technical equipment and limited JJ-CCR equipment. All rental is subject to availability, certification and appropriate experience.

Technical gas and rebreather support

Technical packages can include gas and equipment logistics, but these must be specified individually. Possible additions: oxygen, trimix, helitrox, decompression gas, diluent, bailout gas, sorbent, stage and bailout cylinders, rebreather support and DPV rental. Gas is priced according to the configuration and mixture agreed for the trip.

Meals and self-catering

Meals are normally not included. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen and food-storage facilities — we recommend shopping before arrival or shortly afterwards. Catering may be possible for groups when arranged in advance.

Changes caused by conditions

Skarnsundet is a tidal environment. During the stay we may change departure time, dive site, the order of planned sites, the number of dives on a particular day, maximum planned depth, boat or shore entry, and team organization. Changes are made to provide a suitable and safe program within the conditions available.

Your quotation is the final reference

Before confirming a booking, check that the quotation states: dates, number of nights, number of divers, planned diving, included gas, included cylinders, equipment rental, guiding, meals or catering, total price, payment terms and cancellation terms. Ask us about anything unclear before making payment.
