General requirements to join:

• Norwegian or English language (E-learning is in norwegain)
• At least 18 years old
• Approved diving health check (can be provided by your GP)
• Member of both NTNUI Dykkergruppa for the school year 2023. (If you are not entitled to NTNUI membership you can still join the course against a surcharge of 600kr)

Course Content:

• Skills to dive safely to 20m
• Knowledge to plan a dive in daylight
• Learn how to analyse the gas in your bottle
• Swimming techniques
• correct use and maintenance of equipment
• How to handle emergency situations and first air related to diving

Course Cost: 5990 NOK (excl. health check and driving)

Payment: After being assigned a spot you will be invoiced (by email), so make sure you pay the invoice before the course starts.

Included on the course cost:

• E – Learing
• Diving table Book and log book
• 6h of pool dives
• 3 days with sea dives (total of 6 seadives)
• 1 session to find fitting gear
• 1 evening with Theory Re-cap and First Aid
• Theory exam
• Entrance to the pool
• Air-fills during the course

Additional costs:

• E – Learing (1099kr)
• Medical Health Check for Scuba diving  download this do and bring it with you to the doctor
• Driving (divided between participants)

Driving:

• In order to get to the dive sites we require cars. For this we will primarily use the cars of the students and instructors.
• It is at the discretion of the instructors to decide which cars will be used
• DG has access to a 7-seater van that can be used under the following terms: Link

Theory:

This is an intensive course where we will do the practical part in a short period. If you book now you will have time to do the E-learning in your own tempo, but please make sure you are done before the Sea Devies starts.

It covers the required theory for the course as well as the physical book and dive-table (will be sent to the address you have registered in MinIdrett)
You have to complete the e-learning before the first sea dive.

• Pool dive 1:  23.09.2023 10.00 – 14.00 at RelyOn Nutec Norway AS, Bynesveien 66, 7018 Trondheim
• Sea Dive 1: 24.09.2023 10.00am-04.00pm at Korsvika (beside Dragvoll Idrettsbygg)
• Sea Dive 2: 30.09.2022 10.00am-04.00pm at Korsvika (beside Dragvoll Idrettsbygg)
• Sea Dive 3: 01.10.2022 10.00am-04pm.00 at Korsvika (beside Dragvoll Idrettsbygg)
