Agir Small OPV – SMB, with over-pressure valve

Description

The Agir SMB small OPV is a compact surface marker buoy intended for divers who want reliable safety equipment without it taking up space in the BCD or stage pocket. It is built around one key feature: the over-pressure valve (OPV).

When you inflate the marker at depth and the air expands on the way to the surface, the OPV automatically releases the excess air. That means the buoy keeps its shape, stands upright and stays clearly visible from the boat — also in waves and current, as we know them well from the Trondheim Fjord and the Norwegian coast. Without an OPV you risk the marker shooting away or collapsing at the surface just when you need it most.

An SMB is not optional equipment. It is standard kit on every dive, whether you are diving recreational depths along the coast or making longer decompression stops on technical dives. The Agir SMB small OPV works well as a primary marker for freedivers and recreational divers, or as a compact backup for technical divers who already carry a larger buoy.
