Apeks MTX-R – regulator set, DIN with bag

Description

The Apeks MTX-RC is a further development of the acclaimed MTX-R, and has been chosen by the US Navy Experimental Diving Unit as its regulator. It is tested and approved for diving down to 60 metres at temperatures close to freezing — a requirement very few regulators are able to meet.

For those of us who dive in the Trondheim Fjord and other Norwegian waters, cold-water performance is exactly what counts. The second stage has adjustment options for comfortable breathing in extreme cold, and large controls that are easy to operate with thick gloves.

First stage:

• Overbalanced, completely dry chamber with patented heat exchanger against icing
• 2 HP ports angled downwards
• 5 LP ports with 360° rotating turret
• Pre-fitted turret fifth port

Second stage:

• Pneumatically balanced
• Hose can be mounted on either side
• Apeks comfort mouthpiece
