Apeks XTX50 DST – regulator set, DIN

Description

The Apeks XTX50 DST is a well-thought-out regulator for the diver who wants solid performance without paying top price. With an over-balanced diaphragm first stage (DST) it delivers higher intermediate pressure the deeper you go — which gives noticeably easier breathing at depth and makes it well suited to Norwegian cold-water dives.

First stage (DST):

• Over-balanced diaphragm design for better performance with depth
• Environmentally sealed dry system keeps water, ice and silt away from the spring chamber — important in cold water
• 2 high-pressure ports and 4 intermediate-pressure ports on a rotating turret for optimal hose routing

Second stage:

• Pneumatically balanced — gives smooth, easy breathing throughout the dive
• Two-stage progressive purge button: side pressure for low flow (e.g. lift bag), centre pressure for full purge
• Patented heat exchanger around the valve mechanism reduces the cold shock from gas expansion
• Large venturi lever with rubber grip surface and adjustable breathing resistance knob
• Comfo-bite™ mouthpiece reduces jaw fatigue
• Moulded parts with active protection against MRSA, E-coli, bacteria and fungi
