BARE Repkit – Service Kit, for Drysuit

Description

A leaking drysuit is not just annoying — in cold Norwegian water it can become a real problem. The BARE Repkit for drysuits gives you what you need to seal small holes and leaks quickly, whether you are at home or at the dive site.

The kit contains contact adhesive particularly suited to drysuits, an application brush and a selection of rubber and neoprene patches in different sizes. The repair is made from the inside, and the adhesive is compatible with all common suit materials — whether you dive, paddle, sail or work in emergency response.

• 1 pc. contact adhesive
• 1 pc. application brush
• Assorted rubber patches in different sizes

Tip — pressure testing the suit:

• Clamp off both seals with strips of moulding and a clamp over each
• Turn the inlet valve so that you can inflate the suit
• Fill the suit with air
• Spray over the seams with a mix of water, a little washing-up liquid and a teaspoon of sugar — the sugar gives larger bubbles that are easier to see

Storage: Once opened, the adhesive should be kept cool, preferably in the fridge. That extends its shelf life considerably.
