BARE Ultrawarmth Wet Hood – Hood, 5–7 mm

Description

The BARE Ultrawarmth 5–7 mm wet hood is made for diving in cold water, and suits Norwegian conditions well, where the temperatures are rarely merciful. The inner fabric uses Omnired™ technology – 13 thermo-reactive minerals that convert body heat into infrared energy and reflect it back towards the body. According to the manufacturer this contributes to better circulation, retained warmth and longer dive times.

The outer layer is made from ELASTEK, which gives good freedom of movement and sits snugly against the face and neck. The GEN2 hood valve lets trapped air out without letting water in – a detail that really does make a difference at depth. The hood is designed to fit with BARE’s own wetsuit collars and drysuit seals.
