Gear Aid Aquasure – adhesive, urethane-based

Description

Aquasure® from Gear Aid is the industry standard for permanent, flexible repairs on almost any equipment that meets water. The adhesive is based on an elastic urethane compound that does not set completely rigid as it cures — which means the repair copes with movement, stretch and cold water without splitting open again.

Suitable for drysuits, wetsuits, kayaks, rubber boots and other water sports equipment. Particularly useful for Norwegian divers, who put their suits under hard strain in cold water.

How to use it:

• Clean the area thoroughly — use Cotol-240™, alcohol or similar
• Lightly sand latex surfaces (seals, for example) with sandpaper for better adhesion
• Apply an even layer about 2 mm thick with the brush supplied
• Use the McNett Cotol-240™ cure accelerator for faster drying and a neater result
