Gear Aid Cure Accelerator – cure accelerator, 30 ml

Description

GEAR AID Cure Accelerator (previously known as McNett Cotol 240) is a cure accelerator developed specifically for use with Aquasure®, Seam Grip® and Freesole® urethane adhesives from GEAR AID.

The product does two things at once: it cleans the surfaces to be bonded, and it reduces the curing time from up to 24 hours down to 2–4 hours. If you mix the adhesive with Cure Accelerator at a ratio of roughly 50/50, you also get a thinner and more evenly flowing adhesive — the result is a neater and smoother bonded surface without the rough edges you often get with undiluted adhesive. Particularly useful when repairing cuffs and neck seals on drysuits.

• Recommended mixing ratio: approx. 50/50 with Aquasure
• Reduces the curing time to 2–4 hours
• Also works as a cleaning agent for bonding surfaces
• The new formula is 20 % more effective than the previous one
• Larger bottle: 30 ml (up from 19 ml)

Note that the adhesive cures faster, so you have to work a little more carefully — but the end result is clearly better.
