TipTop E-40 hardener is the additive required to activate TipTop SC4000 adhesive (700 g / 780 ml). Without hardener the adhesive will not cure properly, so this is a natural part of your repair kit.

SC4000 is a two-component neoprene and rubber adhesive used for repairing and bonding suits, fins and other diving and freediving equipment. The E-40 hardener is mixed into the adhesive before use and ensures a strong bond and a flexible, durable joint that withstands cold water and stress.
